The 2018 Panorama Music Festival was not on mother nature’s good side. Day 1 of the festival was canceled due to severe weather conditions, but day 2 was in full swing.
Randall’s Island Park was filled with music lovers of different genres, immersive art, technology, and food. Although Lil Wayne couldn’t make it on his flight to New York because of harsh weather conditions, performances SZA, Gucci Mane, and the iconic Janet Jackson made the 2018 Panorama Music Festival all worth while for Hip Hop lovers.
Here’s everything you missed at the festival last weekend:
- Jhene Aiko, Migos, or The Weekend didn’t perform for Day 1 because the festival ended early due to thunder storms.
2. After a less than satisfactory performance in NYC last time she visited, SZA redeemed herself serenading the crowd with all of our favorites from CTRL. She also revealed that she’s going through a break up.
3. Gucci Mane brought out his wife Keyshia Ka’oir to help him sing some of his classics. He also brought out his new artist, the First Lady of 1017 Records, Asian Doll.
4. Janet Jackson had a politically charged opening where she tackled racism and discrimination. She went on to sing a slew of her timeless hits and snatched all of our edges in the process.
