Aaron Hernandez’s former fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, confirmed that she is expecting another child. This will be her second child, just over a year after the ex-Patriots football player ended his own life.
“Many of you have had speculated that I may be expecting another miracle which is very accurate,” Jenkins announced on Instagram. “I wanted to have a moment for myself alone with my daughter … we are beyond excited about the new addition and chapter we will soon begin.”
In 2012, the ex-couple welcomed their daughter Avielle. That following year, Hernandez was arrested for the murder of Odin Lloyd. Eventually, this would be the crime he is ultimately convicted of.
Later, Hernandez was acquitted of double murder charges. Tragically, five days later, the 27-year-old decided to end his life by hanging himself with a bed sheet in his cell.
Nevertheless, Hernandez-Jenkins didn’t reveal the father’s identity.
