‘Black Panther 2’ to Reportedly Begin Filming Next Summer

Chadwick Boseman Filmed 'Numerous Episodes' as T'Challa for Disney+

The world continues to grieve the loss of Chadwick Boseman but the Black Panther sequel will move forward next year.

Filming was reportedly scheduled for March 2021 but the King passed away after a four-year battle with colon cancer. It was pushed back to July and will run through the end of the year in Atlanta.

Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett will return. It’s unclear how they will incorporate T’Challa in the second installment but the studio already confirmed he will not appear in digital form.

Marvel exec Victoria Alonso said, according to The Wrap, “No. There’s only one Chadwick and he’s not with us. Our king, unfortunately, has died in real life, not just in fiction, and we are taking a little time to see how we return to history and what we do to honor this chapter of what has happened to us that was so unexpected, so painful, so terrible, really.”

What do you would be the best way for the storyline to move on without Chadwick?
