It’s good to know that a lot of our favorite celebrities and influencers are using their power to fight the coronavirus pandemic. The list of celebrities who have made generous donations towards the COVID-19 relief efforts continues to grow and Two Bees TV compiled a list of folks who are putting their money where their mouths are.

1. Rihanna

The Bajan born singer and her nonprofit organization, the Clara Lionel Foundation, have donated much needed personal protective equipment to New York City hospitals. In addition to this, the beauty mogul announced a $5 million donation to several organizations including Direct Relief, Feeding America, Partners in Health, The World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and the International Rescue Committee. New York City Governor Andrew Cuomo mentioned Riri in a tweet expressing his appreciation of her efforts as New York City is currently the most affected.

2. Ciara and Russell Wilson

Ciara and Russell Wilson donated 1 million meals to Seattle’s Food Lifeline. “Rally with us and support your local food bank @FeedingAmerica,” the couple shared in an Instagram post. “We can all make a difference together.”

3.Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry

Steph Curry and his wife Ayesha announced that their Eat.Learn.Play. Foundation is donating to the Alameda County Community Food Bank to help “the 18,000+ kids that rely on school for 2+ meals daily” in Oakland. There donation was made after the city was quarantined to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Naturi Naughton announced her two-day event, Naturi Feeds Brooklyn, where those in need can visit popular Caribbean restaurant, Negril Restaurant, in Brooklyn, New York on Friday, March 27th and Saturday, March 28th to recieve a free meal. Details about this dope event is on the flyer below:

The singer tweeted that he donated to Mid-South Food Bank, an organization in his hometown that provides food to families in the mid-South.

The rapper and his Endless Summer Fund are teaming up with Larkin Street Youth Services to provide meals to local at-risk youth in San Francisco, every day for an entire month.

7. Bruno Mars

The Grammy-award winning singer pledged to donate $1 million to the MGM Resorts Foundation to support MGM employees impacted economically by the Coronavirus.

8. Kodak Black

Despite being behind bars, the rapper is donating hundreds of books and much-needed school supplies to students now learning from home in his hometown of Broward County Florida. The incarcerated rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ that Kodak is sending out 625 reading comprehension books to 625 schoolkids in Broward County, FL to help offset the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Schools in Florida have been closed until April 15. Kodak is cashing out $5,000 in educational aid.

9. Quality Control

The record label’s CEO, Pee, took to Twitter to announce that he wants to help 1,000 families in Atlanta purchase all their essential needs. “Want to help 1000 families in Atlanta get groceries, diapers, and formula milk for the babies. It’s a rough time but we will get thru this,” the mogul tweeted. Shortly after he posted a flyer announcing QC’s collaboration with Goodr to give 100 families a day free groceries in the Metro Atlanta area.

10. Milano Di Rouge

The owner of popular streetwear brand Milano Rouge and current girlfriend of rapper Meek Mill pledged to give away $200 to 50 mothers in their third trimester or newborn mothers in need during this difficult time. She announced her plan via Instagram with specific instructions on how mothers can check their eligibility. The entrepreneur made sure to elaborate that only those who truly need the help should reach out.

A week after the Coronavirus remix went viral the surprise collaborators behind the hit planned to donate the proceeds to those who will be impacted by the pandemic. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper made the announced her donation plans after the song hit the top of the U.S. iTunes chart.

12. Michael Jackson’s estate

Even in the afterlife the king of pop still managed to find a way to give back to those in need during this tough time in the world . The King of Pop’s tradition of philanthropy lives on. The Michael Jackson Estate is donating $300,000 to help three communities that have been hard hit by the coronavirus crisis: Broadway, Las Vegas and musicians. Broadway Cares, MusiCares and Three Square Food Bank are each getting $100,000, estate spokesperson Diana Baron confirmed on Wednesday.

Kylie Jenner donated $1 million to provide first responders with face masks and other supplies during the coronavirus pandemic. She also has been using her platform to push the #StayatHome campaign with the intentions to flatten the curve and stop the spread of the virus.
