Drake spent a pretty penny to brighten his mouth with some bling bling for his “In My Feelings” music video.
TMZ reports that the rapper hit up celebrity jeweler, Ben Baller, to make his grills only 4 days before recording the music video in New Orleans. The grills were made in 36 hours and flown straight to NOLA. Drizzy specifically wanted pure platinum and 18k gold.
It’s unusual to request such a high quality just for grills, but he supposedly wanted to represent a specific color that’s related to New Orleans, as per TMZ.
The grills definitely stood out in the video and was one of the best parts aside from Drake returning to his acting roots. Lala Anthony played the infamous Keke, who had a strict mother played by Phylicia Rashad. Big Freedia and Shiggy also made cameos in the music video below:
