Its been a rough year for Wendy Williams and her health continues to spiral downward.
The TV host was reportedly rushed to the hospital after being found drunk after checking herself out of a sober living house on Monday.
Outlets report that Williams was given a bag of IV fluids which contains thiamine, folic acid, magnesium and sulfate, known as a banana bag. This is a treatment for patients with vitamin and electrolyte deficiencies due to chronic alcohol abuse.
Despite recent reports, the Queen of Hot Topics appeared in her talk show Wednesday with special guest Jemele Hill, and her husband, Kevin Hunter who executive produces the show, was reportedly on-set.
Last week, Williams revealed on-air that she had quietly been focusing on her sobriety.
“I have been living in a sober house. … You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in the past,” she said on The Wendy Williams Show. “I never went to a place to get treatment … there are people in your family, it might be you … I want you to know more of the story.”
She added that her husband was the only one aware of her treatment. But apparently he was soaking up some sun with his decade-long mistress, Sharina Hudson, and she recently gave birth.
