Erika Alexander to be Casted in ‘Black Lightning’ Season 2

The second season of Black Lightningon the CW will include Erika Alexander, the adaptable on-screen character, author and producer best known for playing Cousin Pam on The Cosby Showand as Maxine Shaw on Living Single.

Warner Bros Television said Thursday that Alexander will show up in three episodes of Black Lightning as Perenna, an advisor with clairvoyant capacities that work with Jennifer (arrangement co-star China Anne McClain) to help her handle her showing powers and the mind-boggling heap of feelings they mix up.

Season 2 of Black Lightningdebuts October 9 and brings back star Cress Williams in the job of Jefferson Pierce, otherwise known as Black Lightning. The DC Comics character was made by Tony Isabella and made his presentation in April 1977 with Black Lightning issue No. 1, which made him the first Black character with his very own DC Comics series.

In other Erika Alexander related news, she launched Color Farm Media with previous Google official, Ben Arnon. The organization’s activities incorporate an untitled ghastliness spine chiller film written by Alexander and set up at Lionsgate. She is additionally a co-author of Giles, a realistic novel in a collaboration with Dark Horse Entertainment and Joss Whedon.
