YFN Lucci is having a great start to the new year, and has already proven to be a force not to be reckoned with.
With the upcoming release of his debut album, Ray Ray From Summerhill I had the pleasure of having an exclusive, advance listen to it, and I must say it’s lit AF.
Ray Ray From Summerhill features guest appearances from Offset, Casanova, Wale, and more. This album tells a story about Lucci growing up in his hometown, Summerhill, Atlanta, and hustling just to eat. What I like about it is that you will definitely hear a few street anthems, a couple club records, and a sprinkle of songs for the ladies.
His freshman album also has stellar production. The Diplomats and JAY-Z samples caught my eye as a New York native and Hip Hop lover. But you’ll have to see what I’m talking about when the project drops on March 9th.
In the meantime, check out my exclusive interview below with YFN Lucci right after his listening party. In the past, he talked about how lit it was to be independent, but he’s currently in negotiation with Warner Brothers to ink a new deal. He also has a new single with Lil Yachty coming out.
