Idris Elba is in finishing up his negotiations to join the cast of the film adaptation of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Cats.

Tom Hooper will helm the star-studded flick, likewise featuring Ian McKellen, Jennifer Hudson, James Corden, and Taylor Swift.
