It looks like Iggy Azalea has a bun in the oven! Hollywood Unlocked reports that the rapper is six months pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend, Playboi Carti.
HU confirms that someone around them spilled the tea, although they’ve clearly been trying to keep their good news under wraps.
Neither Azalea or Carti confirmed the news, but a congratulations is in order if it is true.
The couple started dating in 2018, and moved in together in Atlanta shortly after. Engagement rumors sparked when Iggy Azalea was spotted wearing a diamond ring during an appearance on The X Change Rate. She was asked if she was single and she quipped, “No, I’m not. I’m not,” while pointing to the ring.
“Once I started talking to her, I just cut off everybody,” Carti previously told FADER about hanging up his player’s jersey. “It was over with.”
In other related news, the Australian rapper recently dropped off her, Wicked Lips EP, which made for a solid comeback. As far as Carti … don’t hold your breath.
He released Die Lit last year and just been doing guest features to fill the void. Unreleased music has surfaced online but he isn’t officially “back” yet. If he’s preparing to welcome a baby, we may not hear any new music from Playboi for a while.
