Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to Donate $10M to Meek Mill and JAY-Z’s Reform Alliance

Meek Mill & Michael Rubin's REFORM Alliance Successfully Passes New Laws in Michigan Altering the Probation and Parole System

Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, has been joining forces with powerful, Black influential figures to combat COVID-19 by providing financial relief to non-profit organizations.

Dorsey recently pledged to donate $10 million to Meek Mill and JAY-Z’s Reform Alliance. The funds will be used for Dorsey’s #SmallStart initiative and will help with coronavirus relief and provide personal protective equipment to prison staff and inmates across the United States.

“The criminal justice system needs to change,” Dorsey added. “COVID-19 adds to the injustices, and Reform is best suited to help.”

Reform CEO Van Jones said that “this level of support from a tech titan marks a turning point for the criminal justice reform movement.”

Jack Dorsey launched the #StartSmall initiative in April after pledging $1 billion of his Square equity to the coronavirus pandemic.
