The newest edition to the notorious Kardashian-Jenner Klan is Khloe’s Kardashian and Cleveland Cavalier center Tristan Thompson’s daughter, True Thompson. Khloe choose to handle her pregnancy and new found motherhood very private contrary to the family’s tendency to forever in the spotlight. (I mean there’s literally a new post everyday on something Kardashian).
One question that people have been buzzing about is where did Khloe and Tristian come up with the name True. Internet users even theorized that the name was coined in reference to True’s father’s cheating allegations being proven. Well, Grandma, Kris Jenner, took to Instagram and slammed those allegations minutes after. The “momager” revealed that the name “True” is actually a family tradition passed down through generations. The post reads:
“I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT… my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton….my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton…so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!! #lovebug #familytradition #family @true”
However, Khloe nor Tristan never commented on rumors, until now. Khloe took to he Apple/Android official app which allows users to indulge in the socialite’s life, that she chose the name because her child was a “dream come true”.
“Picking a name for your child is really so tough! I knew I wanted my baby to have a “T” initial, so one night while we were all at dinner thinking of some names, my grandma MJ suggested “True.” She told me it was my great-grandfather’s first name and my grandfather’s middle name. It stuck with me for my entire pregnancy and was the only one I couldn’t get out of my head.” She says
