LeBron James is Reportedly in Talks for 'Friday the 13th' Reboot

Fresh off the heels of the box office success of the Halloween reboot, reports are suggesting that LeBron James is “in talks” to produce a Friday the 13th reboot.

A report from Bloody Disgusting Monday asserted that James and his SpringHill Entertainment production company are having talks with Vertigo Entertainment about the film. James and SpringHill, as beforehand announced, as of now have the forthcoming Space Jam reboot added to their repertoire.

“I hold that [original Friday the 13th screenwriter Victor Miller] did not prepare the screenplay as a work for hire and that Miller’s Second Termination Notice validly terminated Horror’s rights to the copyright in the screenplay to Friday the 13th,” a judge ruled last month. Makers, per the Hollywood Reporter, had claimed that Miller wrote the content as a work-made-for-hire venture after producer/executive Sean Cunningham prepared the thought in light of the accomplishment of the first Halloween.

Concerning Space Jam 2, we adopted a month ago that Black Panther and Creed chief Ryan Coogler would create the Terence Nance-coordinated spin-off close by James’ SpringHill. “The Space Jam collaboration is so much more than just me and the Looney Tunes getting together and doing this movie,” James said when announcing Coogler’s joining. “It’s so much bigger. I’d just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don’t just give up on their dreams.”
