We learned this Wednesday that 18-year-old rapper, Lil Pump, whose real name is Gazzy Garcia, was arrested Wednesday evening after police ran the tag on the white Rolls Royce he was driving and came to the conclusion that it was enlisted to another vehicle, a blue Mini Cooper.
Police requested Pump’s driver’s permit, in which he did not have at the time which quickly led to his imprisonment. He was later released on $500 bond Wednesday night.
Today, Lil Pump’s lawyer, Brian Bieber gives us a clear explanation on why the tags were wrong on the Rolls Royce to begin with. He states, “It turns out there was an error in the plate that he received from the dealership,” Bieber said.
Garcia was captured after police spotted him on Northwest seventeenth Avenue and Ninth Street, WPLG-Ch. 10 detailed.
Bieber mentions that no other court dates have been set yet. He also states, “He was released early evening, last night, and he is back to work”…“We’re confident the matter will be resolved favorably and quickly.”
Welp, we hope that the Miami Gardens rapper, most known for hit song “Gucci Gang” is sure to check for his car tags and driver’s permit the next time he steps out
