Megan thee Stallion did a photo shoot with Harper’s Bazaar and fans are upset over the outcome.

Harper’s Bazaar sends out a tweet featuring Megan thee Stallion in a no-makeup photoshoot. In the tweet, they introduce the stallion as their March cover star.

The rapper is at the top of her artistic game, finishing college, and defending her right to be young, Black, and free: “Can’t nobody tell me how to be the Hot Girl.”

After announcing our good sis, fans reacted fast; claiming the photoshoot does not do her justice at all!

While you might expect many fans to be excited about the exposure for Meg, many were upset about the way she was photographed. Fans on Twitter are expressing that the shots were bland. Some even urged the photographer to apologize or be fired for the images. Additionally, fans are comparing the photos to “better” covers of Meg from Time and Paper Magazine.

Others compared the photoshoot to similar ones that also received backlash featuring Simone Biles and Kamala Harris.

Social media is buzzing, saying that the normally vibrant Megan looks “lifeless” and “washed out” in the photos. Some fans thought Meg’s own selfies from her iPhone on social media had better lighting and composition. There are a few defenders of the Bazaar shoot. However, the general consensus is that it doesn’t appropriately capture the “Cry Baby” rapper’s full colorful personality and style.
