Nicki Minaj is busy doing press runs for her latest album Queen, which dropped last Friday, but she had a couple minutes to drag DJ Self. On Monday, before Chun-Li’s appearance on Stephen Colbert late night show, she stopped by Clue Radio at Power 105.1 and things went left. It’s unclear where DJ Self appears in the equation, but she told him the three disrespectful words that no New Yorker wants to hear.
Apparently, the current Love and Hip Hop: New York reality star tried to speak badly about Cardi B to Nicki Minaj, hoping that’ll amuse the Queens native but his plan backfired. Additionally, in a since-deleted Instagram post, Self began dissing the “Barbie Dreams” rapper, saying that Bardi had the best female album this year. After that, Minaj went OFF! She claims the real reason why he’s upset is that not only did he not get an exclusive interview, but he didn’t even get acknowledged or a drop for his show.
With everything taken into account, it sounds like Self got upset that Nicki played him for the drop after he was talking sh** about Cardi, so then he hopped on social media trying to be funny and started an entire war that is scheduled to continue on Queen Radio on Beats 1 Radio on Thursday.
