Rapper Plies was arrested this Wednesday (Sept 19) at Tampa International Airport for allegedly carrying a gun through security checkpoint.
TSA agents reportedly spotted the weapon in his carry-on bag. The gun found was a Glock 43 9 mm pistol. A loaded magazine was also found next to the gun. The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) normally requires firearms to be unloaded and placed in a locked, hard-covered container. Individuals are also required to have a concealed carry permit.
Unfortunately for the “Bust It Baby” rapper, he did not have a concealed carry permit and was arrested at the airport. He was released from jail after posting $2,000 bail.
