Pop Smoke’s rising career was cut short after he was shot and killed in a Los Angeles home invasion, according to TMZ.
Two masked men broke into the Brooklyn rapper’s home and fired multiple shots, critically wounding Pop. The men were spotted fleeing on foot.
The “Welcome to the Party” rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead.
The suspects have not been identified or caught. One man was handcuffed but then let go when authorities realized he wasn’t connected to the shooting.
It’s unclear whether or not Pop Smoke knew the shooters but this was a sad ending to his story. He was only 20-years-old and doesn’t any children.
