Pop Smoke is dearly missed and his fans are yearning for all the unreleased music he teased during vlogs and Instagram live sessions.

His manager, Steven Victor, who is the head of the Victor Victor label and managed the Brooklyn rapper up until the time of his death, released a joint statement with Pop’s family regarding the status of his debut album and additional projects.

“The public show of support and grief, by everyone touched by Pop during his lifetime, has provided some semblance of comfort during these difficult times for his family, friends, and colleagues,” Victor said in a joint statement with Pop’s family. “Throughout the next year we will be sharing new music, as we continue to build Pop’s legacy. In conjunction with his estate we will be making formal announcements on his foundation and music projects.”

Victor recently revealed that he’s actively working on a posthumous release for Pop Smoke’s freshman album in addition to a documentary. “I’m working really, really hard on this Pop Smoke album,” Victor told Complex. “And I’m working on a documentary for him, too. And his foundation. I’m just really focused on making this label like the next Jimmy Iovine and Interscope.”

The Meet the Woo rapper was gunned down in Beverly Hills on February 19th during an alleged home invasion, which many speculate was a targeted attack. The case is still unsolved and unfortunately, this is looking like another cold Hip Hop case.

His memory will forever live on through the music.
