Reginae Carter is riding for her man, YFN Lucci, who surrendered over to authorities for his alleged connection to a murder.
The “Both Of Us” rapper was identified as the driver of a drive-by shooting that left one dead.
On Friday, Reginae took to Instagram to give supporters an update on Lucci. “Hey Guys! Ray wants you all to know he’s in good spirits and doing well. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes… He’ll be home soon.”
The couple has had an on-and-off relationship, and we broke the story that they were an item after months of romantic rumors.
The Hip Hop heiress recently spoke to Hollywood Unlocked‘s Jason Lee about reconciling with Lucci after publicly breaking up with him last year. “We are working on strengthening up our friendship before anything because that’s what we lacked at the beginning. Right now we’re just working on our friendship and we’re creating a deeper bond…”
She added, “I’m 21, about to be 22, I’m not worried about having no kids no sometime soon. I’m focused on me, and my relationship with YFN Lucci. So, that’s my focus.”
YFN Lucci is being charged with murder, aggravated assault, participating in criminal street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
