UPDATE: Senators joins in on turning to VP Pence to invoke 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. Following the violence on capitol hill, many politicians and business groups want to remove President Trump from office.
The decision to use the 25th Amendment seems fitting for this situation. Considering the fact that it seems as though President Trump has used his social media to entice the events. Prior to the event on capitol hill, Trump made tweets that gave fuel to the pro-Trump mob.
Democratic lawmakers including Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, other political commentators, and business groups including the National Association of Manufacturers have called for the removal of President Trump from office, citing the 25th Amendment.
What is the 25th Amendment?
In simple terms: the 25th Amendment (Amendment XXV) says that if the President becomes unable to do his job, the Vice President becomes the President. This can be for just a little while. In addition, the 25th amendment can be used if the President is just sick or disabled for a short time.
The 25th Amendment provides a process for the vice president and a majority of officials who lead executive agencies — commonly thought of as the cabinet — to declare that the president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”https://t.co/xLAz5biu1t

How would the 25th Amendment be Used to Remove Trump?
In this case, if the government can succeed in removing Trump from office, the amendment can be used. Therefore, politicians like House Speaker Pelosi are making demands.
‘Attorney General Barr, do you subscribe to the presidency of Donald Trump after the act of sedition he committed yesterday? … ask each member of the Cabinet, ‘Do they stand by these actions?’’

The amendment is being mentioned again after Trump supporters violently stormed the Capitol Wednesday to protest the results of the election Joe Biden won.
If the decision is made to invoke the 25th Amendment, vice president Pence will be considered president for the remainder of Trumps’ occupancy. It’s looking like we’re still in 2020. Or like 2020 isn’t ready to be over and done with just yet…
I will keep making updates as reports continue to release.
