Snoop Dogg has been one of the prominent voices in the Hip Hop community calling out Donald Trump’s foolery.
The West Coast legend did an interview with DJ Whoo Kid and before dragging Trump, he manifested his induction into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame.
“I’m coming up soon,” he said. “Could be, could be. Maybe. I wanna be in the hip-hop hall of fame, though. They got one of those?”
But within the firs three minutes of the conversation, it got real political. Snoop was asked about his outspoken method to call out unfairness, and he said he has zero regrets about the way he chooses to use his platform during the Trump era.
“I could give a fuck,” he said. “I’m not a politician. I ain’t running for shit and I ain’t running from nobody so I can say what I wanna say. Sometimes I feel like I have to speak for the people who are voiceless, who don’t have a voice, so I become political. If I see a lot of shit going on I’ll be like, man fuck that.”
The host suggested for Snoop Dogg to run, and took the time to point out the ridiculousness of the former reality star being in such a powerful position.
“Fuck that president shit,” he said. “This n**** Donald Trump done fucked it up. I don’t know what a president supposed to be now. He done fucked the whole criteria up . . . If he gon’ be as white as he is, I’m gon’ be as n**** as I am. Fuck it.”
Snoop even criticized Trump’s responses to natural disasters. “This n**** showing up to tragedies giving thumbs up and shit. Like, what kinda n**** is this?”
The OG rapper also spoke about his desire for inmates doing time for selling weed or drugs to be released.
“Every white motherfucker that ever did a n**** wrong, get in jail,” he said. “We reversing this shit now . . . All the Mexicans, Muslims, Asians, y’all cool. Come over here. If I didn’t call your race, you in trouble.”
