‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 Delayed Until 2019

Bad news Stranger Things fans. Eleven and the gang won’t come back to your small screens for another year.

At the Television Critics Association press tour for Netflix on Sunday, the streamer’s VP of original series, Cindy Holland, talked about the famous ’80s-period science fiction series, and why it won’t be back for a third season until Summer 2019.

“It’s a hand-crafted show,” she said. “The Duffer Brothers and Shawn Levy have worked really hard … and want to deliver something bigger and better than they did last year. They want to take the time to get it right. I think it will be a fantastic season and will be worth the wait.”

The small previews of the upcoming season already looks promising. There’s a gleaming new shopping center nearby (Ahoy!) that is putting forth work to King Steve (Joe Keery) and new cast part, Little Women star, Maya Hawke, who plays his colleague, Robin.

The Starcourt Mall was first presented in a secret video on Twitter not long ago and highlighted the principal look at Hawke close by Keery working in the nourishment court. As a result of the dialect and era in the video, numerous hypothesized that Stranger Things wouldn’t return until Summer 2019.

Hawke’s character Robin is portrayed as an “alternative girl who is equal parts sharp and playful.” Robin reveals another dim mystery in Hawkins, and the viral video recommends the shopping center will be a focal area for all the heavenly activity that will undoubtedly go down.

Stranger Things returns for season 3 in Summer 2019 on Netflix.
