Tay-K's Accomplice Pleads Guilty to Murder for 40 Year Sentence

Words by Andre Kettle

Sean Robinson who is Tay-K’s accomplice officially pleads guilty to murder.

On Aug. 30th,  according to the Star-Telegram, Robinson is now pleading guilty of the murder of Ethan Walker. Robinson was at first charged with capital murder but instead pleaded guilty to murder for a 40-year sentence. Robinson will serve 18 years behind bars due to the credit for the time served before he is eligible for parole.

Robinson’s lawyer, Wes Ball issued a statement after Robinson’s plea. “Ethan Walker senselessly lost his life. Mr. Robinson wasn’t the shooter, of course, but a very bright, young man with probably a great future if he applied himself in the right way. He lost his way, got with some people, and got involved in this offense and therefore his life gets destroyed. It’s just a terrible, sad thing all the way around.”

Sean becomes the latest accomplice to plead guilty to a charge, following Ariana Bharrat, who recently pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery in exchange for a 25-year prison sentence.

While Tay-K continues to sit in prison, a photo of the rapper inside a jail cell was posted on his Instagram on Aug. 28th. He was moved to solitary confinement in a maximum-security center after authorities discovered he had a cell phone and a charger hidden on him after a routine pat-down. He attempted to toss the phone in the toilet which caused an altercation with the guards.

Alongside the capital murder charge for the death of Walker, Tay-K also faces an extra murder charge for the fatal shooting of Mark Saldivar in San Antonio, Texas and Arlington for an aggravated robbery charge.
