Tekashi 6ix9ine’s highly-publicized trial is finally coming to an end. The disgraced rapper dropped the dime on the Brooklyn Nine Trey Bloods and got sentenced to 24 months in jail.
He is being credited 13 months for time served and will be on five year probation after his release. He was also ordered to serve 300 hours of community service. Aside from his sentencing, another notable thing the public learned from Wednesday’s hearing is that Tekashi has another daughter.
There were previous reports that he fathered a second child. His baby’s mother, Sara Molina, said the “GUMMO” rapper got a “few” girls pregnant while they were together. “There’s only one child present, and the DNA isn’t in yet, but I believe that’s his child,” she said at the time. “That can be his kid, and he admitted that to me.”
Tekashi 6ix9ine e acknowledged the second baby girl in his apology in court. “I’m sorry to the world, I’m sorry to my family, to my daughters, to my fans and followers people who believed in me, and to the other families who are affected by this and to this courtroom.”
Judge Paul Engelmayer said he received a letter from the other child’s mother, Marlena, “In brief, the letter states that Mr. Hernandez and Marlena are the parents of the child who was born in November 2018. The letter is complimetary of Mr. Hernandez,” Engelmayer said. The letter will reportedly be made public soon.
