Colin Kaepernick is the face of Nike’s latest ad in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their “Just Do It” slogan. “Believe in something even if it means sacrificing everything,” the add reads over a black and white close up shot of the former quarterback.
Many people thought Kap was fitting for the campaign considering that his football career went down the toilet two years go once he decided to quietly speak out against police brutality by taking a knee during the National Anthem before a game.
Just FYI, Nike is the largest sports brand in the world. It knows how to run its business better than you do.@Kaepernick7 marketing campaign has pushed up Nike shares today in heavy trading.

Nike did what many corporations are afraid to do in the middle of heated racial tensions during a Donald Trump administration. Many jumped to Kap’s defense, while others are burning their sportswear from the brand. Either way, I’m with Kap!
