Did Zendaya just tell the world that she’s pansexual?
Zendaya is no stranger to speaking her mind and she gave her two cents on a gender-based question that had fans asking for clarification.
The actress covered Vanity Fair’s Hollywood issue and during The Proust Questionnaire she was asked, What is the quality you most like in a man?”
Zendaya swiftly corrected the question, “I most like in a person, how about that?” It had many fans speculating that she came out as pansexual.

By definition, pansexual means that someone is “not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity,” according to Oxford.
Zendaya went on to answer the question:
“It’s such a big question. What is the quality I most like in someone? I would say, ‘kindness’ is kind of not the best way to describe it, but some people are just good people, and you can just feel it. And I don’t know how to explain that, but there’s this little spark they have, or this little special thing that they have, that just you feel safe and happy around them. I don’t know what that is, but some people have it, and it’s special.”
The follow-up question was “What is the quality you most like in a woman?” The Malcolm & Marie actress laughed, “Well, I guess that’s the same answer.”
It’s unclear if this means Zendaya is pansexual or bisexual, but it’s clear her lover will be based on the vibes and not gender.
