Yesterday, Beyoncé took to her Instagram to announce the Renaissance World Tour that’s set to take place this summer.
Fans have been preparing for the tour way before there was rumored to be one ever since the singer, 41, dropped the Renaissance album last July. And tickets for the tour will be high in demand.
The Bey Hive has been tweeting nonstop about their expectations for the tour and how ticket sales will go down following the Taylor Swift Ticketmaster fiasco.
“@Ticketmaster I would hate to have to dog walk y’all bout these Beyoncé tickets so act accordingly” one person tweeted. “There needs to be a Beyoncé quiz on Ticketmaster before you’re allowed to buy tickets,” said another.
Beyoncé’s website has all of the show dates available from May to September and Ticketmaster has published a special blog post with instructions on how to get tickets for the tour. Those who are planning on going to the North American leg of the tour must be registered as Verified Fans.
“If there is more demand than there are tickets available, a lottery-style selection process will determine which registered Verified Fans get a unique access code and which are placed on the waitlist.” The page said. An access code will not guarantee a ticket.
Queen Bey will perform in cities all around the world starting in Stockholm in May and ending in Louisiana in September.
