Boosie Badazz Faces Multiple Charges For Atlanta Brawl

Boosie Badazz was reportedly detained on Monday, October 11th at Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.

Boosie faces charges including criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree (felony), inciting to rioting (misdemeanor), disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass (misdemeanor).

According to The Shade Room, the Baton Rouge rapper was taken into custody for charges relating to the Atlanta brawl during the Legendz of the Streetz Tour stop earlier this month. He was mid-performance on Friday (October 1) when the fight broke out. In footage obtained by TMZ,  a man exited the DJ booth and confronted another man onstage. Instead of standing by, Boosie immediately started swinging.

On Oct. 2 around 12:41 a.m. officers responded to a “vandalism call” Saturday at State Farm Arena. Officers spoke with the person who reported Lil Boosie about the rapper and many others running onto the main stage and damaging production company property when they arrived. The Legendz of the Streetz Tour included Jeezy, Gucci Mane, and 2 Chainz, with special guests Fabolous, Lil Kim, and DJ Drama.

The altercation led to Boosie’s removal from the tour. Earlier this month, an angry Boosie commented on the removal, tweeting, “If you would like to request a refund to this evening’s concert tour, REFUNDS MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO ENTERING THE VENUE AT POINT OF PURCHASE.”

He added in the caption, “THIS IS THE MOVE THEY PULLING OFF ON THE TOUR SO U CANT GET REFUNDS. READ IT CLEAR LOL LIKE PEOPLE GO READ A SIDE DOOR LOL SHIT OUT TO ALL MY BALTIMORE FANS LOVE YALL.”

On Tuesday afternoon, Lil Boosie was released on bond from the Fulton County Jail. His next court appearance has yet to be scheduled.
