Bryson Tiller proved that there’s still raw talent coming out of Kentucky about four years ago. His debut album, TRAPSOUL, was delivered to the world on October 2, 2015.

The collection was supported by three charting singles: “Don’t”, “Exchange”, and “Sorry Not Sorry.”

The lead single “Don’t” was released on SoundCloud a year prior. It eventually went viral and took a life of its own and forced the Louisville singer out of the shadows.

TRAPSOUL debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200, selling 22,000 copies in its first week. It was nominated for a Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and Album of the Year at the Soul Train Music Awards in 2016.

It was followed by his collection True to Self two years later which wasn’t received with such positive reviews. Bryson Tiller blamed the low reviews and sales on his past depression which he says ended two years ago.

He’s expecting a baby girl with his model girlfriend, Kendra Bailey, and many fans joked that he’ll never drop new music again.

Tiller released a teaser single, “Blame” which left fans begging for a full blown follow-up to True to Self. Are you ready for new music from Pen Griffey?
