Police have reportedly ordered the evacuation of two Capitol Hill buildings after MAGA supporters stormed the building.
The Library of Congress James Madison Memorial Building and the Cannon House Office Building were reportedly ordered to evacuate, according to The Washington Post.
The Post also reports that President Donald Trump’s supporters pushed through metal barricades and security.
Congress is meeting Wednesday afternoon to confirmed President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, although Trump held a rally ahead of Georgia’s runoff claiming he will never concede and made more bizarre voter fraud claims.
The protestors have successfully stopped the discussion of electoral votes, but that won’t change the outcome.
Check out some footage of the moment the MAGA supporters made it into Capitol Hill and forced a shutdown.
