Cardi B and Lizzo addressed all the ‘rumors‘ in their collaboration but that didn’t stop negativity from coming their way.

Lizzo hopped on Instagram live and shared that she’s highly sensitive to fat phobic and racist trolls as she prepares for the new era in her career.

“For the most part, it doesn’t hurt my feelings. I don’t care,” she said in the IG Live. “I just think when I’m working this hard, my tolerance gets lower, my patience is lower, I’m more sensitive and it gets to me.”

Cardi weighed in on the conversation. “When you stand up for yourself they claim your problematic & sensitive,” she wrote. “When you don’t they tear you apart until you crying like this. Whether you skinny, big, plastic, they going to always try to put their insecurities on you.Remember these are nerds looking at the popular table.”https://twitter.com/iamcardib/status/1426965037676171277

Cardi B followed up with a tweet praising the success of her record with Lizzo. “Rumors is doing great. Stop trying to say the song is flopping to dismiss a woman emotions on bullying or acting like they need sympathy,” she wrote. “The song is top 10 on all platforms. Body shaming and callin her mammy is mean & racist as fuck.”

The “Good As Hell” artist positioned herself as a voice for body positivity. She recently participated in the Dove Self-Esteem Project. Ahead of the release of the project, Lizzo posted an unedited nude picture accompanied with a message about loving yourself.
