We’ve been entertained by music legends going hit for hit on Instagram live as apart of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s Verzuz series throughout the quarantine.
This caused music fans to start discourses about hypothetical battles. Someone tweeted a picture of Lauryn Hill besides Erykah Badu and asked users who do they think would win. “I’m riding with my girl fat belly! … What y’all think!?”
Badu caught wind of the post and responded, “I’ll be pulverized…”

Fans debated about who would get the W, and it looks like a split decision. Erykah Badu has a bigger catalog than Lauryn Hill, who only has one solo Grammy-winning album and two records with The Fugees.
However, both women are deeply respected in the game and a rap/neo-soul battle with set the energy right.
