Fat Joe and Ja Rule are the next hip hop Legends who are set to go head-to-head in the upcoming Verzuz battle.

“The summer ain’t over!!” Verzuz co-creator Swizz Beatz wrote on Instagram announcing the news.

The Queens rapper reposted the flyer and captioned the photo, “#ICONN.” Meanwhile The Bronx rapper posted an identical flyer and wrote his new catch phrase “The price just went [up] @fatjoe @verzuz @jarule.”

This marks the first Verzuz celebration since the epic showdown between The Lox and The Diplomats.

Ja Rule previously challenged 50 Cent to a Verzuz, but Fifty suggested that Snoop Dogg would be a better opponent.

“It would make more sense catalog wise, me and Snoop. Cause we could compete every step of the way,” 50 told Big Boy in an interview. “Ja Rule? He got like five, six good duets. The hit records are all him and Jennifer Lopez, him and Mary J. Blige, him and Ashanti. Him and … a woman, a female. All the records. He got one hit song by himself, ‘Holla Holla.’”

Ja backpedaled after 50 responded saying that he didn’t want to disrespect the culture by clashing with his arch nemesis.

“I don’t know if me and him can do that,” Ja told Hot 97’s Ebro Darden. “I don’t know if that would work. Just for respect of the culture. I would never want to disrespect the culture and let me and his little thing get into the love and respect of what Versuz has brought to the culture, for each other’s catalog and the artistry. I would never want to tarnish that.”
