Fivio Foreign Admits he Doesn't Want Pop Smoke's Killers in Jail

At the beginning of the month, five people were arrested in connection to Pop Smoke’s February murder. The Los Angeles Police Department announced that four out of five of them were charged with the Brooklyn rapper’s murder, and two of them are facing the death penalty.

“I’m mad they got locked up,” Fivio Foreign admitted in a recent interview with VladTV. “I don’t want them in jail.”

Fivio and Pop were close friends, and are two significant figures in the Brooklyn drill scene. But a huge part of the movement was taken from us when the “Dior” rapper was gunned down. “It hurt, bro. I ain’t gon’ lie. That shit hurt,” Fivio told VladTV about the moment he learned of Pop’s death.

Two of the suspects are 19 and 18 years-old and are technically considered adults. Meanwhile, the other two are 17 and 15.

The older suspects have been identified as 19-year-old Corey Walker and 18-year-old Keandre Rogers. If convicted, they can face life in prison without parole, even without capital punishment. The younger culprits will be tried in juvenile court on murder and robbery charges.
