'Gorilla Glue Girl' Tessica Brown's Hair is Still In Tact Following Successful Surgery

Tessica Brown, known as the Gorilla Glue Girl, can rejoice now that the adhesive is finally out of her hair.

After a failed visit to the Emergency Room and a sit-down with a dermatologist, Brown went to a Beverly Hills surgeon who took the Gorilla Glue out without removing her hair.

Dr. Michael Obeng, director of MiKO Plastic Surgery spoke about the four-hour operation. “The surgery went well. Tessica is doing well. She’s awake. The hair crew is doing her hair.”

In order to remove the glue, Dr. Obeng used “medical-grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil, and acetone to weaken the polyurethane,” according to his interview with TMZ.

Tessica Brown was emotional while running her fingers through her hair after unwillingly having her ponytail laid for over a month. After several failed attempts, she was prepared to rock wigs indefinitely but thankfully there’s no need for that.

It was previously reported that Gorilla Glue Girl was weighing out her legal options. It’s unclear if she’s still moving forward with that.
