Forget walking down the runway with handbags. Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, decided to take things up a notch and accessorize the models with decapitated replicas of their heads, baby dragons, and snakes.
The unveiling of the Autumn/Winter ’18 collection will definitely be a show to remember. The runway was in a mint green surgical room. The unibrowed models paired with lace and neon-knit balacavas, and floral babushkas fell right in line with Michele’s “tacky, but make it fashion” aesthetic.
