There are many people who would jump at the opportunity to go out on a date with Drake, like Tiffany Haddish for instance, who revealed that she passed on a gig to go out with him but he flopped due to an emergency. But Heidi Klum swerved Champagne Papi when he shot his shot.
“You snooze you lose. He called, like, a week too late,” Klum explained, bewilderingly, to Ellen on Tuesday’s show. “Someone who I know knows him and he asked to have my number and then he texted me. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is so weird!’ but then I never texted him back because I found the love of my life.”
Drizzy most likely caught Heidi’s vibe when she last appeared on the Ellen Show and played a game of “Who’d You Rather?” The Project Runway host stuck with Drake for majority of the answers. “You put it out into the universe! You really did,” she told DeGeneres, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Coincidentally, Heidi Klum met her current boyfriend, Tom Kaulitz, that day. Unfortunately for the Toronto native, he was a week too late. “Drake, I’m sorry I didn’t text you back,” she said.
