Iggy Azalea has recently shared a story on Britney Spears and her abusive father. When they worked together in their 2015 collab “Pretty Girls.”
In a letter shared on Twitter, the Pretty Girls singer expresses her anger and concern over Britney Spears’s father. She also discusses her support for Britney as she enters the fight for her rights and conservatorship.
According to the Tweet, Iggy Azalea has stated that Jamie Spears intimidated her into signing an NDA. Moments before going on the 2015 Billboard stage with Britney Spears to perform “Pretty Girls.”
The artists claims, “During the time we worked together in 2015, I personally witnessed the same behavior Britney detailed in regards to her father last week and I just want to back her up & tell the world that: She is not exaggerating or lying…”
She continues to say, “Her father conveniently waited until literally moments before our Billboard performance. When I was backstage in the dressing room & told me if I did not sign an NDA he would not allow me on stage. The way he went about getting me to sign a contract, sounded similar to the tactics Britney spoke about last week in regards to her Las Vegas show.”
In the two-part letter, she continues on saying that she had a first-hand look at what was Britney Spears’s life and restrictions.
