Gospel vocalist Kelly Price let her fans know that she’s improving and is following her physician’s instructions after a serious fight with COVID. As recently detailed, Kelly Price, 48, stood out as truly newsworthy last month when her family was sure she had been missing for some time. Apparently, the songstress vanished soon after she was let out of the clinic for having COVID.
Kelly’s sister insisted that her sister was missing a nd that her family hadn’t seen her in months.
Kelly Price ultimately came forward and shared that she was never missing but instead isolating herself so she could fully focus on her recovery journey. She added,
“There were actually people–I don’t know, fans or whoever they were–coming to my house. People ringing the bell, leaving things at my doorstep, disturbing my neighbors [at] all times of the day and night. And this wasn’t months ago–I literally just left my house maybe a week ago because I couldn’t rest there… I turned off everything. I wasn’t on social media.”
In a recent Instagram post, Price let her followers know that she’s in a much better place. She wrote,“Sis is following dr’s orders. Sis is getting stronger everyday. Sis is working hard to get back to the music. Sis is focused. Sis is eliminating stress from everywhere and everyone who presents it no matter who they are. Sis is working hard to be better than I was before COVID, before the pandemic, before the deaths and the losses, before the heartbreaks and the pain. Sis will be better than she was before the craziness.”
