After Jesy Nelson dropped a new song called “Boyz” with Nicki Minaj on Oct. 7. The song quickly came under fire when Jesy Nelson got accused of blackfishing and appropriating black culture. In the video for the “Bads Boy For Life”-sampling track, the former Little Mix member have a deep tan, curly hair with gold teeth. However after an Instagram influencer @NoHun_ shared unverified DMs allegedly from Leigh-Anne Pinnock, in which the she called Jesy ‘horrible’ and accused her of blackfishing and cutting her bandmates off.
Nicki Minaj quickly came to defend Jesy during the controversy during an hourlong Instagram Live conversation on Monday (Oct. 11, ) Minаj criticized Pinnock for аllegedly sending аn Instаgrаm content creаtor text messаges. “Sweetheart, take them text messages and shove it up your f—ing a–,” she said with a fake smile. “Don’t try to come out and ruin anyone. Let her enjoy this time. If you was in this woman’s group and you ain’t taking about this sh– for 10 years, and as soon as you see she got a video come out with Nicki Minaj and Puffy, now you sending the stations text messages and all this shit.. print them text messages out, bust your a– open and shove it up your motherf—ing a–. “And stop trying to hurt people and kill people’s lives and careers. If you want a solo career, baby girl, just say that.”
Leigh-Anne Pinnock reportedly addressed the drama at her 30th dinner party.”I’m thirty years old.
