Lil Durk has achieved mainstream success over the past two years after grinding for years. Now the Chicago is rapper is ready for a “challenge” by returning to High School.

“I’m going to get my high school diploma I want to challenge myself on my goals and real life situations,” he tweeted.

This will be a great addition to The Voice of the Heroes rapper’s resume as he was recently featured in the new Beats campaign talking about his connection to his hometown.

Durk isn’t the first rapper to return to High School after the fame. His “No More Parties” collaborator, Coi Leray returned to her alma mater of Montclair High School in Jersey to receive her honorary diploma.

Quavo also announced the moment he achieved the same milestone. “Finally Can Say I Graduated High School Class Of 2020. We Lit 🔥 Now What College Should I Go To? 🧐 And To Celebrate We Gonna Drop SMASH TONIGHT 🔥🌊 BERKMAR HIGH NAWFSIDE BABY,” the rapper captioned the post.

Veteran R&B singer Lloyd shared the elation he felt on Instagram after receiving his GED in 2016. “I’ve gotten so many messages of love, gratitude, and encouragement from people on here and in my immediate circle everyday. Often I am overwhelmed by it and I have a hard time responding accordingly,” the 35-year-old wrote at the time. “…I want to say thank you to you for your enthusiasm and love, not just towards me, but towards music culture and each other as a whole.”
