Ludacris Elaborates on Controversial R. Kelly Line in Unreleased Song

Ludacris' Mercedes-Benz Was Reportedly Stolen After Leaving It Running While Using ATM

While Nelly was figuring out his WiFi situation, Ludacris took the time out to preview some unreleased music during their epic Verzuz battle last Saturday.

The Georgia legend received a few nods when he played an unreleased record featuring Chance The Rapper. But it was an awkward moment when he played an unreleased Timbaland-produced record. “The world screwed if n*ggas pouring drinks like Bill Huxtable,” Luda raps on the song that features Lil Wayne. “I love R. Kelly but around my daughters, I’m not comfortable.”

This didn’t sit well with fans and the rapper turned actor did an interview with Big Tigger to clear the air. “Sometimes when you speak on records, you speakin’ like it’s just me and you having a conversation,” Luda said. “But you just speaking and just being honest. I saw that a lot of people kind of misconstrued or just didn’t understand what I’m saying.”

He went on to ask the legendary host how did he interpret the lyrics and Tigger responded that the Pied Piper made great contributions to the culture, but he’s a pedophile. To which Ludacris responded, “smart man” for being able to correctly receive the “simple” lyrics.
