It doesn’t look like fans are getting a Pooh Shiesty and Kodak Black collaboration anytime soon.

Pooh Shiesty and Kodak Black traded words over Instagram because Kodak claims that he influenced the “Back In Blood” rapper’s style.

Kodak uploaded a video claiming that he’s the blueprint for all the new music and demanded respect for influencing Pooh’s popular “Brrr” slogan and money spreading.

The Memphis rapper swiftly responded, “This shit here so lame [to] me lost all my respect,” in a since-deleted post.

But Kodak caught wind of his remarks and hopped on live to double down on his comments. “Keep that shit cute, don’t make it all that bruh,” the Broward County rapper said in an Instagram Livestream. “That’s just what it is.”

Pooh Shiesty didn’t back down. He hit Kodak Black with receipts that he been spreading money since before Kodak Black was rapping. “The Internet and fans will make a real nigga do some hoe shit. Influence?” Pooh questioned. “You wasn’t rapping when I was out here taking action.”

Kodak isn’t the first to take aim at Pooh. Yaya Mayweather made her feelings clear about the hit song “Back In Blood” featuring Lil Durk clear when she demanded the “weak” song to be turned off on a yacht party. Additionally, she refused to dance to it during a party she hosted during All-Star weekend in Atlanta.

Fans presume that Yaya is showing her loyalty to her baby’s daddy, NBA YoungBoy, who is close with Quando Rondo, who is currently at odds with Durk and his crew following the killing of King Von.

Neither rappers confirmed if there was any actual beef, but it sounds like a case of guilty by association.

Pooh Shiesty is one of the artists to look out for in 2021. He officially declared it’s Shiesty Season with the release of his debut mixtape featuring Lil Durk, Gucci, 21 Savage, and his labelmates, Foogiano, Big 30, and more.
