Despite posting an apology video of his past racist behavior, Shane Dawson is in the hot seat with the Smith family for a resurfaced clip of Shane pretended to masturbate to a poster of a then 11-year-old Willow.

Both Jaden and his mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, respectfully called Dawson out for the video. Willow herself has yet to make a comment on the video clip.

Jaden also called him out for doing Blackface “on the regular,” says the “Icon” rapper. He says the youth need to support “creators who support us and our morals.”

Dawson has then uploaded a 20-minute video called “Taking Accountability” in which he apologized for his past offensive actions, such as using blackface, the n-word, and “joking” about pedophilia.

“I was at least 20 when I started YouTube and I made the decision to play stereotypes of Black people, or Asian people, or Mexicans, or pretty much every race,” says Shane. “I have done a lot of things in my past that I hate, that I wish I could make go away, that I tried to make go away by deleting videos, or un-tagging my Instagram, literally doing whatever I can to pretend those things didn’t happen,” he says in the video. “Because yes, I apologized for a lot of them but I’m 31, almost 32. Those apologies suck. I don’t know who that person is anymore … This video is coming from a place of just wanting to own up to my s**t.”

Shane who has 22.7 million YouTube subscribers on YouTube continued “I made that decision. I said, ‘Oh this is funny,’ and I put that on the Internet.” “Now, years later, I look back at that, and … when I say I hate that person, I mean it in the most intense way possible.”

Do you think Shane Dawson’s apology was sincere or is this yet another PR stunt to appease Black outrage? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below
