Stevie J filed for divorce from Faith Evans after three years of marriage. Per TMZ, divorce documents were filed by Stevie on Monday, Nov. 8, at the Los Angeles County Superior Court. But just a week ago Faith posted on Instagram giving Stevie J a special birthday shoutout, telling him to “hurry up” so they can celebrate together. The pair who surprisingly tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2018, which came as a surprise to family, friends and fans.
Stevie J and Evans were linked in the early ’90s through the producer’s work with Evan’s husband, rapper, The Notorious B.I.G. Evans was married to The Notorious B.I.G. from 1994 they share a son together. She was later married to record executive Todd Russaw from 1998 to 2011. Faith Evans and Stevie J shared a 20-year long friendship before they started dating in 2016.
Stevie J dated former Love and Hip Hop Mimi Faust for 13 years whom they share daughter Eva Giselle Jordan together. They finally called it quits when Stevie J started dating Joseline Hernandez. Stevie and Joseline welcome their daughter Bonnie Bella in 2016. On May 31, 2020, Faith was arrested for serious domestic battery after police responded to a 911 call from her home, According to TMZ Sources, officers found visible marks and scratches on Stevie’s face, leading to Faith being arrested. Faith was able to post bail that day and the charges were eventually dropped. The reason for Stevie and Faith Evans divorce is not given at this time.
