DMX the rapper died at the age of 50 on April 9 2021.
During a constant struggle with his health and a fight for his life. DMX passed away in a hospital in White Plains, New York after a serious heart attack.
As an artist, he battled with various struggles in his life he battled with his addiction and ever-growing success with his career. As a beloved artist, friend, and precious family member many shared the love they had for him.
Firstly, DMX’s ex-wife Tashera Simmons posted a heartfelt message as she mourned the loss.
As she mourns the loss of her ex-husband and father of her children she says:
“Happy 50th birthday to me. 😢💔
With much prayer, pulling. Crying and a roller coaster of emotions. I couldn’t bring myself to just celebrate and close the last 50yrs of my life with out celebrating the life of one of thee most important person in the world to me, my Ex-husband.
I know today is my day.
But I also understand that God is love…”

Following the announcement of his death several fellow friends and artists also sent their prayers and pay tribute to their lost friend.
The Celebrities Mourn DMX
And as the prayers and condolences and love pour over towards the artist and his family the sports community also sends their love. When the news broke Lebron James, Adrian Peterson, Trae Young, Torrey Smith, and various other athletes share their love and prayers.
Not long after this Saturday Night Live also sent their respects and paid tribute as well. Chris Redd held a sign that read “R.I.P DMX” during the end credit scene. Reminding everyone of the legend he was.
