Tory Lanez tweeted a cryptic message which led fans to believe that he was going to jail for unintentionally violating Megan Thee Stallion’s restraining order against him.
“It’s been real,” the Chixtape rapper tweeted before scrubbing his Instagram.
Gossip of the City reported, “Tory Lanez is going to jail and he will be staying there. He unintentionally violated the restraining order. That’s why he made those post earlier.”
But Tory hopped on Twitter to slam the reports. “Me at my house …. watching niggas on Twitter celebrating and thinking I’m going to jail,” he wrote with a popular GIF of Wiz Khalifa doing a happy dance while he eats.
The Toronto rapper also announced his upcoming album, Alone At Prom which he describes as an 80s album. “MY 80s NAME IS …… ASHTON RAIN,” the crooner added.
Tory’s legal troubles began after he allegedly shot Megan in the foot following a Beverly Hills house party last year.
He has maintained his innocence since breaking his silence about the incident.
The Chixtape rapper joined DaBaby during his controversial Rolling Loud performanceright after Megan took the stage to perform their “SKAT” collab.
The Head Hottie’s team believed the Toronto crooner violated the restraining order she has against him and the courts seem to agree.
Prosecutors argued that Lanez’s involvement in the festival was a violation of Megan’s restraining order as he was allegedly within 100 yards of her.
Someone close to the Toronto rapper told the outlet that he never saw the Houston rapper or came physically close to her.
The DAYSTAR rapper was arrested and released after posting $250,000 bail.
