The rapper, and his Cactus Jack Foundation, have teamed up with Mayor Sylvester Turner to launch an emergency food program Friday. In addition, the program will feed 50k residents who’ve been impacted by Texas’ historic winter storm.
Photos from TMZ, show trucks occupying Houston streets as they provide the donations. On Friday, deliveries have been ongoing all over the city, including truckloads of bottled water.
Moreover, a lot of support is pouring in for Texas as celebrity natives rise to the occasion. Just last week, Beyonce and her sister provided a relief fund for affected residents.
