Tyga Sued by Landlord for Unpaid Rent and Damages

Tyga Surrenders To LAPD Following Domestic Violence Allegations

Tyga got hit with a lawsuit for unpaid rent and damaging a Los Angeles property.

The landlord says the rapper rented the property for a year and didn’t pay the $32,000 owed when he moved out in April. He also claims that T-Raw left gouges in the floor, damaged the marble countertops and flooring, and the walls. The repairs totaled roughly about $146,000.

Additionally, the “Taste” rapper installed a basketball hoop without permission that damaged the driveway, new locks, and entry door.

The landlord says he tried to settle in May via mediation but Tyga declined to come to an agreement. He’s consequently suing for breach of contract and seeking $200,000 in damages.

This isn’t Tyga’s first issue with unpaid rent. In 2018, makeup artist Mezghan Hussainy alleged that he didn’t pay rent on her home that he rented for $40,000 a month.

Once the rapper stopped paying rent, Hussainy took legal actions to get him kicked out of the property.

The craziest part of that whole ordeal was his son with Blac Chyna, Cairo, was named as a defendant because his name was on the lease.
